Chinese? Mark on gold toned band or ring identify?

These characters are on the inside of what looks to be wedding band. Quite soft and it is easily manipulated. Trying to find out a bit more about it.

I posted this same question and pic on the eBay jewelry forum or discussion group. I was told that this is a 22k + solid gold ring - as indicated by a copule of characters. They recommended I take it to a Chinese restaurant to get more info - not a bad idea!
