I found these earrings at a garage sale today. I noticed the very small marks and just assumed they were gold. When I got home I checked with a loupe and saw they read "14/20" with an 00 symbol after it. All research I've done on this type of marking all have "GF" or Gold Filled after the 14/20, but this doesn't have that. Can anyone help me identify this?

Re: Gold Hallmark 14/20 but not Gold Filled?
I see lots of vintage and antique gold filled pieces through my job and not all pieces with the fraction will also have the G.F. just as not all pieces with G.F. will have the fraction. The 14/20 is basically a condensed version of "1/20 14k". They will use this or just G.F. on pieces occasionally but especially on small articles like earrings and jewelry clasps. It also means the piece is not too old, probably post 1970.
