Please bear with me if I have done something wrong - this is my first time!!
I have recently acquired a gold coloured ingot pendant but I would like to know more about its origin and whether it is indeed gold. Can anyone help? Camera isn't good at close ups so I will try to describe as well. The markings are - on the front is a hexagon with IT in the middle, underneath is a star underneath that is a fleur de lys underneath that is 999.9 and finally underneath that are the letters MLT or MTL whichever way you read it. On the back are two more marks - looks like MTL and then a G. Thank you

Need Help Identifying Marks on Ingot Pendant
The fastest way to determine if it is gold is to take it to your jeweller and ask him to scratch test it. One can't tell from a photo. The other suggestion: call someone who deals in bullion and ask if they recognize the marks. I am skeptical as I can't relate the initials to any manufacturer and the wafer doesn't have a serial number.
