I bought this ring and would like to understand the maker's mark.
From some researh on this site and elsewhere the ring is made of 583 gold and checked at Kiev Government Inspection Agency.
However I am still not sure about how to understand this second part/photo. Is it correct that the .9 is showing that it is from around 1979? Is the "K" here again referring to Kiev? And then the last two cyrillic letters are the maker's mark? How do I find the maker? I cannot find one that corresponds to these letters.
Any help would be greatly appreciated as I love knowing the history behind my jewellery

Re: Gold ring with unknown Russian maker's mark
Very unusual wide range of products like radio engineering devices, furniture wheels, magnetic latches and jewelry.
I think they closed in 1991, but succeeded by several jewelry workshops (the town seems to have long jewelry tradition).
Fifty miles south of Kiev and the name translated to English means White Church.

Thank you all for responding. It is really interesting to know more about the piece. What does the 1989r stand for? When the factory opened?
Re: Gold ring with unknown Russian maker's mark
Hi,
The ring was made in 1979.
As far as I can tell, the factory opened in 60` and closed in 1991.
