Can anyone tell me anything about this maker? I know Gregg is a south carolina maker but the mark doesn't match.
Thanks so much

4 May 1835 William Grigg's will appears to have been proved in New York City. The will was signed on 18 April 1825. William Grigg's estate was left to his wife Helen. A niece Phoebe Rainetraux was to inherit the estate if Helen had passed away prior to William Grigg's death. William Grigg also left one hundred and fifty dollars to another niece Phoebe Stout. Jacob Stout and Anthony Rainetaux were the Executors.silverly wrote:5 June 1832 William Grigg aged 90 years died, formerly a merchant and late of Brooklyn, 55 Maiden Lane. Brooklyn interment.
