These three pieces are a set. Hallmarked London, 1744, James Shruder.
The dish is about 14 inches (35.56 cm) wide.
The ewer is about 8 inches (20.32 cm) high.

Two questions here:
- What was this set used for?
- What is the smaller piece to the left called?

Assume item on left is for the cream - cream ball? :) Don't know, but recognised the set due to the "indent" for your face on the bowl!

That's close enough for me Waylander.
The book calls it a "Soap Box" or "Wash Ball Box".
