Hi,
Letter N in this form of the mark was used in Lemberg (now Lviv in Western Ukraine).
I think it`s an authentic mark,the maker`s mark is missing, though.
Besides, it`s not profitable to bother with faked Tremolierstich.
That`s all I can tell

I read the letter in the mark as M, in which case it is not Lemberg (Lwów, Lvov, Lviv) but Brody, a town about 90 kilometres northeast of Lviv, now in Ukraine, still in Galicia (Galizien).

Definitively Galicia (Galizien).
Three town letters have been identified so far:
M Brody
N Lemberg
O Berezhany

It seems to me that Hallmark is fake,
and made recently.
That's how it should look like this.
Maybe there is someone else's original photo with Brody,
or other cities Galizien?

There is an item with similar marks in the Nicholas M. Salgo Collection. If they can sent to you copy of the photos of the marks, you can compare.



There is a wrong identification (Munkács), but I think, Brody is the solution in the peacock too.

I can't speak the marks, but the cup form, decoration and construction technique all point to South American origins. For a good sampling of images of near identical cups, google - Bolivian silver cup.
