I have a pair of tongs but can't place the marks. I'm thinking old Sheffield but not able to id the maker. Any help is greatly appreciated!!

Hello, "Broadhead and Atkin" have been known to use a "B&A" mark but most illustrated marks are associated with "S" pressumably for Sheffield where their "Works" was. They made plenty of holloware and the full name of the company was regularly present. For tongs it might have been easier to use this smaller mark.This particular business was only active !843-53 and no doubt using "puedo silver" marks was a good commercial ploy. Here is the first idea but I hope you get a few more.
