Is this E. Jaccard and Co.?

Post by Sparta5 »

I found this shell spoon today. The company was around from 1852-1901. However, when I look online all the E. Jaccard markings have an E. and Co. Would it be safe to say my spoon is indeed E. Jaccard? I can't tell if the spoon is plated or possibly coin silver? Any input is great thanks!

Here is the mark I can find online that is closest to mine, note the dot under the T in St Louis

I can't tell you where your mark falls in the family business, but I am satisfied that the spoon is coin silver.
