Teapot Marks

Bought from a French woman running an antique shop. I was told the piece is French.






Piece is solid silver...any info on marks or period would be much appreciated.

Thanks very much. The mark looks like a small ship or Anchor with an O and S letter marks for the maker under a loop...do you have any ideas who this may be by?

I think the maker`s mark is upside down and it depicts caduceus, the staff carried by Hermes or Latin Mercury.
