I bought this chalice and I am wondering if anyone can give me any info on the mark. I was told the chalice is from the 1800s. Anything you can tell me would be appreciated. Thank you

Hi,
It is French Minerva head for silver standard used since 1838.
There must be at least one more mark of the maker in lozenge.Search for it and look here:

Here it is. I saw the comment on the first Mark from 1838 on made in France. But what did this mark mean?

So from the two stamps I posted. Is there anyway to narrow this down to a specific year or decade and to a maker?
