The other spoon I posted turned out to be German, so I'm wondering if this one might be too? I was thinking it would date to the 1790s or so, but there is a date inscribed as 1844. It is really that new, or was the inscription done later? Any idea who the silversmith it? Thanks for any help! (I apologize if this is elsewhere, I put both spoons in the same original post and this one (the second), may have been moved elsewhere but I couldn't find it.)
Last spoon was German, any idea on maker and time on this spoon?

very interesting!
this spoon is from 1844
similar spoons I know from Greifswald
Loitz is near by Greifswald, but I have not a list of makers from Loitz.
