Mystery Mark on Sterling Heart Brooch

• This is from the Southwest. I have no idea how to really describe the mark, nor have I managed to find anything that looks like it. It's marked 'sterling,' then what looks to be a 'c.p'? I have no idea. Any help would be appreciated ♥
