begginer help

Hi, i am new to all this and have purchased myself a load of silver cutlery, I know it's silver of some sort but not even sure if it is plated, can anyone tell me anything about the stamps on it as i can't find any referance on them at all.

Hi there

Funny, I just posted a question on 6 forks I have with the same marks. I can tell you that it is EPNS, not sterling (as far as I know) - that is unless the SS is Sterling Silver and not the makers name.

If you find anything else, please let me know too.

Hi I have just posted the same question on photo shy, I have sppons and forks with the same markings but also EPA1 and Rd 898207 which dates them about 1960, I am still waiting to see if anyone comes up with the manufacturer
