Help with a necklace please

Post by David Garver »

Hi all,

I recently came about a necklace that I would like to know more about such as its age, origin etc. I do not suspect it is very old but I'm interested nonetheless.

I did my best to capture any of the markings on it.

Code: Select all

To my best guess, the little tag on the chain says:

Ag 925
and then underneath that, there appears to be 3 letters (maybe 'FRY' ?)

Then on the little pendant part at the end, where it attaches to the chain I think I can make out:

750 on the right hand side

and on the left there is a small star shape, followed by 4 numbers and the letters AR (the numbers may be '1535' ?)
Is this enough information to shed any light about what this is and from where?

I have had to upload ultiple pictures as I can't get good visuals on everythting at once

The necklace:

The Chain tag:

The numbers on the part that attaches pendant to chain:

The star plus letters and numbers:

Sorry for the poor capturing of the markings my camera is not great, also if the images are too large let me know and I'll try to resize them!

Hi David,

Welcome to the Forum.

Should it be '1535 AR', then see here for details of the maker, Hermes Preziosi srl:

Thanks very much, although the pictures aren't great I am almost certain upon looking at the markings myself that that is what they say.

Much appreciate the info!
