mark is up down. CA - Christian Andersen, born April 20th 1806. Educated in Christiania (Oslo). Citicenship December 16th 1834 went broke in 1865.
Patern is very comon in Norway and Denmark.

Silver is in lod and the normal in Norway at that time.

Hi Miles,
Think the pattern name is Dobbeltriflet or 'double thread', maybe hosedk can confirm.

Yes that is the name (I think) here are som different variants of that patern. Normally use of that name is for the 2 forks. But I soppose that they all are variants of Dobbeltriflet.

I think (or I know) that the name is Gl. riflet
Gl. as in gammel (gammel = old)
