If I am reading what I found on this site correctly, I believe this 8.5 inch spoon is solid .950 silver. I believe it has the Minerva stamp of 1838 to present. I also think the maker's mark -- P [some shape] Q is from Pierre Queille, 1834-1846. The unknown shape between the two letters could be a spade, but not sure. I have taken some closeups from under a microscope.
What do you all think?

Dave

Hi,
Right, although the spade is not clearly seen, the handle of the spade is indicative.
