Hi everyone,
I've got a buckle here unlike any I've seen before. Measures 92mm x 100mm and weighs 66.0 grams. The buckle has a small hole in each of its four ends for an unknown reason. Markings are merely the pinprick type on the back for a couple of letters (owner initials?). I have three questions.
1. What is it? Sash buckle? something else? Repurposed to a buckle?
2. When was it made?
3. Can anyone tell where based on the style of the buckle or the markings on the back where it was made?
Thanks
