Odd Item - Photos, but no makers mark, Just Pat. date

It would be a bowl with 3 medalions depicting a woman holding flowers, but the center sticks up inside, like a pedastal.
It's about 8 inches across, 2 1/2 tall, and the only markings are a Patent date inside.
I just thought it was intresting to post here and see what you think of it.
I placed it here because there is no hint of a markers mark anywhere.

The small plaques look like they may be electrotypes. This was a system perfected by Elkington for copying classical pieces and decoration. It basically consisted of making a mould of a pieces and then building up a heavy layer of silver by electro-deposition onto the surface, thereby copying the original. It was a little more complex than that explanation, but I hope you will get the picture. Perhaps the most famous electrotype is the Wimbledon Ladies Singles Trophy.

Sorry I can’t shed any light on the Patent information.

Paul.
