I picked this spoon up at an estate sale today. The hallmark says "W. Keyes" but I cannot find any information about this silversmith. Any help would be appreciated.

Re: W. Keyes? Silver Spoon ID
Both William and Walter got zip. I doubt this will help, but Keyes & Gager show up as retailers (Buffalo c. 1854) on coin spoons. Name at bottom of ad on page 37 does not match W. Keyes, but might turn out to be related. [Neither W. Keyes, nor Gager, came up in silver or watches. Jewelers seems to be the connection here.] Directory of 1854: https://books.google.com/books?id=c4c0A ... er&f=false
Re: W. Keyes? Silver Spoon ID
One thing that is seen is the comparatively large space between the last two letters. It would seem odd in a maker mark to have it compounded beyond a simple singular name, and Keyes is a known name, but possibly "W. KEYE S."-??
