Hi everyone. I recently picked up this Austrian possibly Austro-Hungarian hand hammered 800 silver tray. It has the Diane head hallmark with a 3 for .800 purity. It is stamped twice maybe three times so it’s not very clear and I cannot tell if there is a letter as well. My question is there is a fairly clear triangular hallmark as well. It appears to be an overlapped WW with what looks like an O or even Q below it. Although I don’t know for sure which way is up. It may be an O or Q over an overlapping MM as well. Anyone familiar with this mark. I was thinking possibly a Werner Werkstatte mark. But don’t see any identical to this one.
I’m not sure how to post pics here.

Hi thanks for that. I think I figured it out thanks to your comment. But it’s showing a link I think rather than a thumbnaildognose wrote:Hi,

Re: Austrian hammered silver makers mark help!
It's not Austrian, but Hungarian!
Magyar Ötvös Műhely, Kövesi József Ezüstárúgyára (MÖM in a triangle) Means Hungarian Silversmith Workshop, Silverware company of Kövesi József. Established in 1901, but this mark used at the 1930' years. And this era Hungary, and Austria was a different country.
Best regards!
