are these markers marks, on this leaf dish and salts?

Are these symbols,the makers marks,or just decoration,the items look to be silver,are they from Iran,Persia,Pakistan or India ?

They are old Indian coins.

They are silver coins from the Travancore Kingdom. ::: These are the largest items I have yet seen using Travancore Silver Coins. :::
