Hi, Am new to this forum, I have a number of old cutlery items I have been hanging onto for aprox 10 years, I have searched the internet hoping to find some info on them.
One is a teaspoon with the hallmarks ;standard mark no2
date letter 0
duty mark 2
makers mark IL
The others are an assortment of forks and spoons with various markings, also has the initials Gt En Fancy engraved on the front of the handle. All these have the sheild with E&Co and various other markings.
anyone have any idea of their original source?
Old Silver cutlery.

Difficult to say without pictures.
The E&Co in a shield mark might be Elkington & Company of Birmingham.
They also were famous for their silverplated pieces.
