Christofle cutlery set with crown marking

Hello,
I have this Christofle sterling silver 950 cutelry set with three markings. I can tell one on the right is the 950 silver and on the left is Christofle with the stars but it has also one more with a crown which I cannot find what it is.
Any ideas are much appreciated.

Hi,
Christofle acquired Cardeilhac silvermiths in 1951 ( three stars and a bee / trois étoile et une abeille + legion of honor crowned, over a crescent / la légion d'honneur couronnée, surmontant un croissant).
Every solid silver .950 item I have seen is marked with Minerve 1er Titre (argent 950/1000).
That`s all I can tell, very unusual to have 950 fineness without Minerva. Let`s wait for more responses.

So at a point they were putting both Christofle and Cardeilhac markings?

Right, but en losenge mark should be for solid silver, as opposed to rectangle mark for silver plated items.
Lack of Minerva head is a mystery to me, though. It is well legislated guarantee for solid silver.
Let`s wait.

Combination of two previous marks; initials O.C. three stars, a bee and legal silver standard (instead of Minerva).

Christofle, a silverplate manufacturer, acquired Cardeilhac in 1951, a company to which Christofle had always outsourced the manufacture of its solid silver products. Following acquisition, Christofle applied the Cardeilhac trademark to its products for marketing purposes as the company had a prestigious reputation.

Your thoroughly polished flatware in the Louis XIII style was originally a Cardeilhac pattern that Christofle named Royal Ciselé. I don’t know its original name. The pattern was discontinued in 1960. Thus we can date the manufacture of your flatware quite precisely from 1951-1960.

The export mark with 950 serves as a silver standard mark; thus the Minerva head is not necessary in this case.
