Found this in a local shop in TX, Silver salt. I would guess American coin silver.
Its marked ? WELS or WEIS or WELSH.
Any help in identifying would be greatly appreciated - thank you!

I'd guess 'WEISS' - German from perhaps Schleswig-Holstein, maybe Kiel?
