Southern Europe, Turkey included. Less likely Spain and Portugal with well established system of hallmarking.
Arbitrary marks invented and applied by the maker, no officially legislated hallmarks.

On the other hand, one cannot eliminate Far East or India in spite of Latin initials, and lacking lettering in non European alphabets.
Cannot help much: rather modern production, anyway.
