I got this fishspoon (31 cm) and like to know more about its history.

Hi KK,

Nice spoon, but not Dutch silver.
I doubt if it is silver at all.

If it is not Dutch, what can it be? It is rather heavy (165 grams) and looks like silver. It should be old (before 1900).

If it were Dutch, the marks would corelate in some way to those here onsite at ->
Dutch Hallmarks
Your mark is a silverplate trademark, probably British (possibly American), which is why your post was moved to this category, where it has a chance to be identified.

This fishspoon comes from the grandmother of my mother (94yrs). I asked her about and she dates it about 1850 and most probable of german origin.
Who can help me?
