There was a maker Heinrich Carl Röhr in Essen (*ca. 1808, oo1830).

An other Ernst Röhr in Dahme (ca. 1877) is to late.

I think it is Heinrich Carl Röhr in Essen.

Two makers with the same last name in different countries at the same time? Very interesting! What source of the
information about Vilno?

As already mentioned the maker is Ludwig Röhr (Liudvikas Rioras) in Vilna/Vilnius, Lithuania. He was born in Riga, Latvia in 1776. He worked as apprentice in 1795 in Vilna and was master 1807-1837 in Vilna. Source: Lietuvos Auksakalysté XV-XIX amžius.

Mind my asking, but same last same and period in two different countries. I don't understand what strange/interesting it is in that?

#Silvermistletoe
Mind my asking, but where from is the year 1838?
