Dear collegues!
I bought a cutlery set for 6 person.
6 rattai spoons, 6 forks and 6 knives.
The shape and the handgraving suggest me 18. century.
Only in the spoons are markings made by 3 different makers.
The problem is, that there is no any thown marks or fineness marks, every spoon marked wit only maker marks but twice.
Assuming it was made in the same city, the monograms of the makers might help decipher the place of manufacture.
Anyone has any ideas?
Thank you for your help!
Best regards!

Cutlery set, 18. century?
Re: Cutlery set, 18. century?
:::: See the last picture with the (F M). [zig-zag line] (f M) hallmarks? Is there another hallmark to the right of the far right (F M) in that picture? Did one of the hallmarks get cut off when you took that picture? It looks like something is there but I just want to make sure. :::
:::: The cartouche and the swired design engraving element reminds me of a German spoon I had from circa 1650. ::::

Thank you for your response.
It's just an austrian vorratspunze from 1867-68. (Storage hallmark)
Best regards!
