17th Century German(?) Chalice

I don't know much about this chalice, beyond it's size of 4" by 2.75. Tested at 800/1000 silver
I believe it to be Bavarian late 1600's to early 1700s. The hallmarks seem to be a crescent moon followed by the intials MP. Any information or educated guesses are welcome. It's a fascinating piece and a new star to the collection

Could be Joseph Meyer Proskauer, Breslau beginning 19th century.

Chalice? Perhaps bowl and cover (missing) on three elongated feet.

Thanks to both posters for the information and leads. A covered bowl on three legs does make more sense than a chalice of this design. Early 18th century seems accurate. No matter, it's an old and fascinating relic.
