Dutch silver wax box seal
Re: Dutch silver wax box seal
Hi Brian, welcome to the forum.
Please embedded your images. It is not a wax box seal but silver needle case, in Dutch zilveren naaldenkoker
Are there no more than 2 marks?

The maker's mark D dot H (D.H) for: Dirk Hoep, registered in Hoorn 1768-1811. It seems the town mark of the city of Hoorn is missing; the town mark is based on the coat of arms a music horn on a bow. Year letter V is for 1781.
Dirk Hoep is a silversmith who started his work in the 18th century. He was born in the small town of Schagen in 1735 and worked as a silversmith in Hoorn until his death in 1813. Known maker of needle cases
Herewith a clear image of his maker's mark on a purse made in 1781, including the town mark although upside down.
