Hi, m8s!
I am new here, this is my first post :)
I got a little silver bowl. I think that it is from Iran and it has silver mark 84. I understand that 84 is not .875 silver, but anyway it is silver.
I am interested who is the maker and what is the region this bowl came from.
Thanks in advance.
Can't understand how to attach the photos here :(
So I put the links to the photos.

Hi,
It must be from Iran (Persia) because of distinctive digit 4 in 84, which is different from Arabic numbers used elsewhere.
84 has been discussed here; it was concluded there is no connection with old Russian 84 zolotniki.

AG2012, thanks for your answer.
I know about 84. My question was about the silversmith mark.

Re: Need help identifying silversmith
One guy on Reddit translated the mark as "Are you my friend?". Very interesting is it true?
