Hi,
I think it is Liége, Belgium.The mark on the left is coat of arms of prince bishop Johann Theodor von Bayern,1744-1763; therefore well known Bavarian coat of arms.
Can you show us the whole item, please ?

Hi, indeed city hallmark Liège/Luik, period 1744-1763, based on the coat of arms of the then reigning prince-bishop Johann Theodor of Bavaria, 10th March 1744- 27th Jan. 1763. Johann Theodor of Bavaria was a cardinal, Prince-Bishop of Regensburg, Prince-Bishop of Freising, and Prince-Bishop of Liège, died 1763.
The ancestral hallmark bears the two -headed eagle of the Holy Roman Empire, of which the Prince-Bishopric of Liège was part of. From 1622 a date was added beneath the eagle. Year letter K for 1755.
The maker's mark G.V above 5 pointed star under a crown attributed to; Guillaume-Gaspar Velez (1716-1769) his mark seen on coffee pot made 1750-1751, spoon made 1749-1750, bowl made 1757, spoon, fork made 1761.

Beautiful heavy silver sauce bowl in the Louis XV style, a Rococo style ca. 1740-ca. 1770.  Shapes and decorations are not symmetrical. The decorations are often taken from nature; flowers, leaves, shells. Object and decorations are a whole; it seems that the objects are pushed up in a wavy movement.Impressive piece of Art, could you please tell us a little more about its provenance, the sizes and weight?
