Hi!

Couldn't find the maker ГА in Moscow.

I am somewhat surprised that the bottom is lathed but I guess this technique was already in use during that period.

Hello!
I know two "ГА" silversmiths who were working in Moscow at that time: Gerasim Andreyanov and Gavrila Alekseev. It is difficult to say more precisely, because there is not enough information.

Raising on stake from one sheet of silver was done much earlier in 18th century.

Yes with lathed I mean the circular lines. Good to know that this type of technique was already used during this period. I have until now thought that the bottom was always hammered before the machine made lathed method was invented so one can always learn new things.
