French Double' Mark

Can anyone help with an identification of the manufacturer who used this French plated mark:




Double' - GD - Squirrel


Noted on a pair of large oval serving dishes:



Any thoughts appreciated.

Hi,
It seems this is an aged posting but..
I wonder if you have managed to get any replies.

We have a simiilar French Item, dish heater with a similar "Doubbl S&H" mark and No "10" sign.
Is "Doubbl" mean double plated and no 10 means 10 micron?
One of the local dealer told me as such, but I am not sure about his expertise.

No, we are still waiting for an answer on this one, and no, the '10' does not refer to microns.

At last I have found the answer! The maker was Georges Durant of 75, rue des Gravilliers, Paris.

This mark was entered on the 6th May 1858.
