Might call this a KoRUPPtion of a silver site, but I think this is a Bernsdorfer MF mark used in 1966 on flatware for the West German Bundeswehr Unterkunst (“BwU”). Presumably they ate in mess halls and not Hotel dining rooms regardless of what misleading internet translations may indicate. There are other makers with numerical codes like 66 and 67, so I’m guessing this was a dating system required by the government ministry in charge of procurements.
