Hi,

Silver sifter, believe it to be CGK in shield-shape contour maker's mark for; Carl Glob Kunze, Dresden ( silver 12 lot=750/000) around 1805.

A for 1805 is correct, but I doubt it could be Carl Gottlob Kunze, as he was born in 1792 and would have been only 13 in 1805. I've seen this mark on other early 19th century Dresden items and the last letter is indeed a "K", so I believe the maker is more likely Carl Gottfried Kunzel (1765-1809), though there are other possibilities, e.g. Christian Gotthelf Kunzmann (ca. 1739-1813).

Dear blakstone, I think You are right with
Christian Gotthelf Kunzmann, citizen in 15. July 1766 Goldarbeiter, born in Bockau,
then I have seen this maker's mark with an older hallmark about from 1770

Other possibilities are:
Karl Gottfried Küntzel (19. September 1795 Bürgerrecht, 30 Years old ->*ca.1765, ein Gold- und Silberarbeiter )
Carl Gottlieb Knoth (24. Juli 1802 Bürgerrecht, Gold- und Silberarbeiter )

or it is ca. 25 Years later ca. 1795 .. then it could also
Karl Gottfried Küntzel, he was a "Gold- & Silberarbeiter" .. this is more likly
