Hi!
Please, help me with identification.
The item was purchased in France on auction, but indicated as “travail etranger”, non-French silver.
I have never met such kind of hallmark and maker’s can’t tell me nothing as it’s appearance is universal (met in UK, US, Scandinavian states…)
“1R” looks like French “premier”, first - they name their 950. standard “premier titre”, and octagonal shape resembles typical French hallmark shape for 950 silver standard. However, I can’t find it in any list of neither French nor former French colonies nor French-speaking countries hallmarks.
Thank you!
Please help to identify, 1R.L
