here's what I've got a set un utensils that was handed down to us...I can't figure out how old it is... the fork and knife both have the letter J and the spoon has an I... can you give me more details on this silver utensils...
greatly appreciated.
since I can't figure out how to put on pic on here... i'll describe the logos
the letter J, anchor,lion,head, maker mark.

the head is called : sovereign

Have a look under British hallmarks on this site under Birmingham. Is it the 1857, 1858 set of marks.
The head, if it is the sovereigns head, would be the duty mark if it is British sterling silver
