opinions on country of manufacture?

Seasons Greetings and a Happy new Year to all.
Re my new Enamel top box only marked 800.
Purchased as Austrian.
Interested in members opinions if Austrian or Italian ?
Enamel image after original painting by Carlo Cignani "Josheph and Potiphars wife" 1678. Later copy miniature(7inch x 7inch ) painted around 1750.
both are in Museum in Dresden ,Berlin.
Not much to go on ,only quality of work (engraving)and mainly Enamel painting. Strange no Crescent and crown mark ,or Italian state lozenge mark.

interested in members thoughts. Other small box Hanau Germany.

No not much to go on, several countries use .800 fineness. Look for other marks. Austria and Italy are good guesses. Are you sure it is painting and not a print?

Thanks very much for your reply and thoughts. It is a vitreous enamel hand painting (not print)
My feeling as both paintings ,original and 1760 miniature copy have been in a Dresden museum for many hundred years ,and are not very well know images it leads me to think my box was made in Germany or Austria (and not Italy )

Also I have found a German 1900? postcard with the same image.this maybe another clue.
I have attached an image of a printed scene on one of my more basic quality boxes for comparison,I am sure you will notice the difference.
I was not going to post this question as I felt it was a bit of a guessing game with not many things to go on ,as you said.

not sure if something about the engraving leads us one way or another (similar engraving may have been done in many countries)
