A silver oil lamp, where does it come from?

I've this silver oil lamp with two marks (one seems to be a face). Could somebody to help me to identify them? I thought it was an Italian lucerna (oil lamp). Thank you!

::::: At first glance I was thinking Italy too, but the more I looked at the face the more I thought it looked like an Ancient Greek coin (Rhodes) and the 2-letters that is probably the Maker's Mark look like Greek lettering to me, so it is possible that we are looking for a silversmith from Greece. :::::

::::: The 2 letters (upside down in the pic?) seem like they could be letters from the Greek alphabet, script perhaps. :::::

The letters may be the Greek Σ Π (sigma and pi). If so, the the image is upside down.

Thank you so much for your messages, very interesting! I've tried to find references of Greek silver marks, but It's quite difficult... In the Tardy book there aren't and in the web there are some marks but quite modern!
