I bought this knife because who doesn't love a good mystery? The blade is English by Makepeace & ?arker. The pummel of the knife is marked with 3 marks. One of them is a crowned L. The other marks look like ?AMON ???HOL and ?ABARRO. the knife is 9" long and the handle is definitely filled. Anyone familiar with this company?
The marks are Spanish, according to the Ordinances of 1733. The "crowned L" corresponds to the city of Valencia. The assayer is Andreu Navarro, active between 1814 and 1858. And the silversmith could correspond to Ramón Puchol.
Greetings
