Greetings:
I am trying to find out a silverplate mark for what might be a Canadian silver vegetable dish with domed lid.
The bottom is scalloped all around and the dome is elaborately decorated. It appears to be dating to the 1940s.
I looked at Henry Birks & Sons hallmarks. On the border of the bottom of the dish there is what looks like a
walking Canadian moose, facing to the right, not the left. Is there anyone who has seen such an image on
a silver vegetable dish server? No other markings are on this item, unfortunately. RichardM
