Chinese cup 1

Post by Ubaranda »

Hello!
I know that the hieroglyphs in the left column mean "pure silver." I'm wondering what the other hieroglyphs mean.
Thanks in advance.

Hi there,

昇恆 is the artisan / silversmith name, pronounced as “Shing heng"
鳳城 is an outdated name for a Canton area, now Guangdong province.

There isn't much info online regarding to this workshop, hence it is just a rough translation. Hope that helps.
