I have a ring with what looks like a 'M' with a 'C' around it. Any help with what this marking means or where it's from is greatly appreciated.

Hello.
The best possibility I could find is I. Michelson, New York City.

Hi,
Mark is similar, but your ring was made in the last 20 years or so, long after Michelsen were out of business. The ring is cast and since its mold marks are still visible, the jeweler was in a hurry, so it is likely a mass produced piece. A lot of jewelry like this has been made in Indonesia & Southeast Asia, outsourced by Western wholesalers & retailers.
Regards, Tom
