Hi there,
I own this silver cross with the following hallmarks. Am I right with my research, that its Chester 1898 and William John Pellow as manufacturer? I am not sure because of the punch shape of the lion sterling mark. I appreciate your opinion. Thanks Robert

HI and welcome to the forum.
You are completely correct with your identification of assay office, date and maker. Chester punches are seen to vary in shape, no doubt following a rule which I have not yet been able to decode.
