Re: A silver cross with a silversmith mark unknown to me
Hello,
If you can tell me what the two letters in the maker's mark are, I might be able to identify it.
The other mark is the Mercury head hallmark for first grade silver made for export between 1st April 1879 and 1st August 2000.
If there is no assay office mark on the neck of Mercury, the cross was made in Paris.

Goodmorning,
thank you for your message. Yes, there is no assay mark on the neck of Mercury. Unfortunately it's difficult to understand the two letters, they are unreadable for me... I've tried to enlarge the picture I made (that are the ones I've posted here).

Julio
