Can you please help me with this mark..it's on a pair of earrings, looks like a crested bird with number 4..ai guess it is for 14K gold but I don't know what country.

Czechoslovakia, domestic gold hallmarks, used 1949-1992. 4th Standard hallmark, designed for small items, the so called Čejka or lapwing mark for gold 585/000.
