today I need your help.
This is a tea-spoon from 1856 with the mark „NP“.
The Petersburg company Nicholls and Plincke, also known as Magasin Anglais / English Store, was founded in 1829 by two Englishmen, Constantin Nicholls and William Plincke.
From 1842 to 1879 the firm was supported by the merchant of the 1st guild Robert Yakovlevich Kokhun.
Because they did not have their own workshops, they entrusted the execution of their orders to well-known companies and craftsmen.
The factory employed 250 people.
I have seen this floral motive on a four piece tea- and coffee set from 1850, the handles in form of tree braches, each piece with flower finial. Perhaps do you know the master of the gilded spoon?
