Hello to the forum,
I have this rather nice box with a sunburst design which I think is possibly from the German/Eastern European area. The original owner, one Carl Schenck, lived in the first half of the 19th century, having been born in Burgstadt and died in Riga. I can't identify the city mark, which has some similarity with Riga's, but doesn't appear to be the same (though the only one I've seen is on-line for a later period). Nor, therefore, can I identify the maker, A.W.
Hopefully, someone on the forum can help me, once again.
Best regards,
Silverk

Hi Oel,
Well, so it is! I've misplaced my Tardy, so it may well be in there, but I would never have found it on-line. Thanks very much indeed.
Best regards,
Silverk.
